HERIT-DATA uses smart and open data to manage tourist flows in natural and cultural heritage sites, minimizing the negative impacts of tourism.

Project Overview

• Defines key indicators for collecting tourism data.
• Develops an online platform to analyze flows and support site management decisions.
• Provides a visitor application to facilitate smart visit planning.
• Tests the tools in six pilot sites across Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, France, Greece, Italy, and Spain.

The goal is to enhance sustainable tourism management, preserve cultural and natural heritage, and create replicable tools for different Mediterranean regions.
