The CHARTER project brings together 47 European organizations active in the cultural heritage sector to ensure professionalism, stability, and sustainability within the field. The project works to make the cultural heritage sector more professional and competitive.
It addresses the lack of statistical data on the sector, which is essential to highlight the economic and social impact of cultural heritage.
CHARTER Aims to:
- Map the training needs of the sector.
- Identify gaps and misalignments in professional skills.
- Support the educational system in adapting programs and learning objectives to the real needs of the sector.
- Promote exchange, mobility, and the development of key and transversal skills across Europe.
All these efforts aim to enhance cultural heritage as a key tool for social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
